Drawing inspiration from 400 years of Swedish postal history, we crafted a new identity for The Swedish Postal Museum that modernizes its presence while reinforcing its role in Stockholm’s cultural landscape.
At the heart of the identity is a custom typeface inspired by the iconic post horn and historic postal typography found on signs and post boxes. Its bold, condensed forms and rhythmic curves give the museum a friendly and confident voice. The typeface is paired with a refreshed interpretation of the classic yellow and blue palette, featuring a range of nuances to create a more playful expression.
Created at Bold Scandinavia together with Victor Nilsson, Eric Rösmark, Ted Carlström, Amanda Wredmark and Theo Örtengren.
